Tosoh SMD Announces Acquisition of Asset of Cabot Thin Film Business
Tokyo, Japan – Tosoh Corporation (TSE: 4042) announced that the wholly owned subsidiary Tosoh SMD, Inc., The Global Leader in Target Technology™, acquired an asset of the former Cabot Thin Films business located in Etna, Ohio. The Etna facility is involved in the manufacturing of sputtering targets for use in the semiconductor business.
