Benzene, Toluene, and Xylene (BTX)

Tosoh’s aromatics plant has become a significant producer of benzene, xylene, and toluene. From these aromatic compounds (BTX) are derived a wide variety of products, ranging from cosmetics, flavors and fragrances, to many types of household products.

 

C4 FRACTION

Tosoh relies solely upon its own C4 fraction and butadiene supply for the production of SKYPRENE®, a premium quality chloroprene rubber. A wide variety of other C4 hydrocarbons, such as butylene and butane can be extracted as well.
