Tokyo, Japan— Tosoh Corporation established Tosoh China Holdings Co., Ltd. (Tosoh China) in Shanghai on March 21 as a holding company. The company was established for the purpose of supporting further growth of its business operations in one of Tosoh’s important markets. Tosoh owns and operates 11 consolidated subsidiaries in China, which consist of companies that sell Tosoh Group products, and other companies that manufacture and sell urethane-related products as well as polyvinyl chloride.
Tosoh China will enable the Tosoh Group to formulate a more effective operating structure and reinforce the governance of group companies in China, thereby strengthening its business foundation in the country.
As operations expand in China, Tosoh Group companies will gradually be put under the control of Tosoh China.
