Combination System

The combination system refers to the Tosoh corporate mark and a company's corporate logotype presented together as a single unit

  • About Combination Systems

    Basics

When there are space constraints, it may be necessary to position the corporate logotype next to the corporate mark.

This should only be done with items such as business cards or where space is not available elsewhere.

All other communications should use one of the approved signature systems (See pages 11-12 of the Tosoh VIG).

    Exclusion Area

In the combination system, the height of the corporate logotype is equal to 1 proportion of a as defined by the corporate mark's size. The corporate logotype is placed exactly 1 proportion of a from the right-most edge of the corporate mark. Additionally, as shown above, the combination system must be used taking into account an exclusion area of 1 proportion of a all around the combination system.

  • Two-Line Versions

A two-line version of the logotype has been made available to accommodate subsidiaries with longer logotypes for use exclusively in the combination system.

It is not permitted to use two-line logotypes when not in the combination system.

It is not permitted to break up your company's logotype in order to create a two-line logotype for use in the combination system without approval from the IPR manager.

All company logotypes should be rendered in a single line when used alone, i.e. with one of the Signature Systems.
