Tokyo, Japan—Tosoh was recently recognized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Health Council for the Outstanding Corporation Under Certified Health and Productivity Management 2024 in the Large Enterprise Category. This is the fifth consecutive year that the company has received this recognition. The Certified Health and Productivity Management Organization Recognition Program, established by METI, aims to recognize enterprises that demonstrate excellence in health management practices, ensuring they receive the public recognition they deserve.
Tosoh supports maintaining and improving its employees' mental and physical health through its Health Promotion Committee, which includes Human Resources, the Tosoh Workers Union, Tosoh Health Insurance Association, and the Health Service Center. The three pillars of Tosoh’s various health-promotion activities are physical fitness, lifestyle improvement, and mental health. Tosoh continues to improve the environment and systems for health through activities such as dietary and sleep education, walking events, and mental health e-learning seminars.
